Dingdong Dantes to Kim Atienza: “Kuya, kumpadre, welcome! Ngayon, matatawag na rin kitang KAPUSO."
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes gave his beloved friend, Kuya Kim Atienza, a warm welcome to GMA Network earlier today, October 4.
In an Instagram post, the award-winning actor shared a photo of them in front of GMA Network Center while doing a finger-heart pose.
Dingdong began his post with a heartfelt message for the renowned TV personality, “Not many may know this, but I have always given so much value and importance to many occasions where @kuyakim_atienza wholeheartedly welcomed me into communities that have changed my life -- from running, to our love for motorcycles and even spirituality.
“Ni-minsan, hindi siya naging madamot sa pagbabahagi ng kaniyang kaalaman, passion at pananaw sa kung ano ang nararapat at kailangan.
“Kaya naman ang tawag ko sa kaniya ay KUYA, hindi dahil 'yan ang screen name niya, kundi 'yan ang tingin ko sa kaniya-- isang nakakatandang kapatid.
“KA- EM, because we belong to the same riding group.
“KA- GOTTA, because we belong to the same health and wellness circle.
“KUMPADRE dahil siya ang ninong ng aking anak."
Dingdong also took this opportunity to give Kuya Kim a warm welcome into the place that he has considered his home for the past decades, GMA Network.
“Kaya Kuya, kumpadre, welcome! Ngayon, matatawag na rin kitang KAPUSO,” he added.
On the other hand, the “Kuya ng Bayan” expressed his utmost gratitude to his beloved friend, “Salamat sa lahat my dear Kumpadre!”

The award-winning TV personality's talent manager, Noel Ferrer, also thanked the Kapuso Primetime King and commented, “FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS, THANK YOU @dongdantes for the warm welcome!!!”

Indeed, today is a very special day for Kuya Kim as he's officially a part of the Kapuso Network following the announcement of 24 Oras.
We'll be seeing more of the “Kuya ng Bayan” on GMA-7 real soon as he's set to appear in three of the network's shows, namely, 24 Oras, Mars Pa More, and GTV's latest newsmagazine show Dapat Alam Mo!.
